About Me

When I am not working with clients, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my two rescue dogs. I have personal experience with many of the topics I specialize in and have been able to develop Post-Traumatic Growth through them. I know that is possible for you as well!

Professionally, I earned my Associate's degree in my hometown of Asheville, NC at AB Tech. I went from there to The University of Tennessee (go Vols!) to attain a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. From there, I graduated with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in Sex Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.

My internship was through Council for Relationships in Philadelphia, PA. CFR is one of the oldest marriage counseling establishments in the country. By partnering with this historic institution, I was able to graduate with more than four-hundred hours of clinical work. Once licensed, I will have accrued more than 2,400 clinical hours! I want to use all of that experience to build a unique rapport with you.

During my time at Thomas Jefferson University, I was able to take part in several unique programs and seminars that have furthered my knowledge and compassion.
